Austin Tidbits

You know that thing where you can hold two contradictory thoughts at once? Like… “I love pizza. I hate pizza.” or… “My legs are too short. My legs are awesome.” or… “I love tabata! Tabata is the work of the devil.” I totally have that.

Which is why I have no problem admitting that I crave routine — and I like to do new stuff.

I know! It’s annoying!

And new is few and far between right now. The commute from my kitchen door to my office is exactly  29 steps, and my usual haunts — the yoga studio, the craptastic gym, and the grocery store — are not hotbeds of info about what’s new and cool in Austin… which means that I need other sources for info about what’s new and cool around here.

That’s where Austin Tidbits comes in. It’s a zippy little site that serves up tasty nibbles “with the inside scoop for the girl about town.” The categories include Sip & Savor, Shopping, Beautify, Nest, and Escape — and Tidbits Treats offer special deals on local products and services. Bonus! There are Tidbits in 10 other cities: Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Minneapolis, Nashville, New Orleans, San Antonio, and San Diego.

And yay! Today, I’m in the Blogger Spotlight in Sip & Savor on Austin Tidbits. Check it out right here!

(They said I’m a “paleo prodigy!” How quickly can I get that added to my business card?!)

Welcome Austin Tidbits Readers!

If you’re here, I hope it means you liked what you read in Austin Tidbits. Maybe you’re hungry for more paleo recipes. I’m glad you stopped by! And I hope you’ve been inspired to at least consider the notion of trying the paleo way of eating. It will change your life for the better and in ways you can’t predict.

Let me show you around a little bit…

Paleo, Recipes & My Cookbook
If you’re ready to get into the details of paleo, visit my Paleo 101 page for the “No” list, the “Yes” list, and a slew of helpful resources.

This is an index of all the paleo recipes on my site – or you can browse the recipes with photos and excerpts, too.

For details about my cookbook, visit this page that’s all about Well Fed: Paleo Recipes For People Who Love To Eat. I’m ridiculously excited about the cookbook and its recipes – all with full-page photos and lots of fun stories about my favorite foods.

Congratulations! BTW, I checked your book out from the library and am loving it. Possibly Saturday, I will actually purchase it, and return it so others can have access to these great recipes!

Can’t believe it took them this long to realize what a gem (you) they have living in their city! Congrats!
