So when I make a plan or find something I like, I generally stick to it.
But these days, I’m trying to take a more experimental, experiential approach to life, so when I ran out of Penzeys Rogan Josh seasoning, I decided to visit a new local source for spices: Savory Spice Shop.

Once again, I wish I had removable arms, like Barbie. My triceps and deltoids are so tired, they’re tingling even as I type.
This workout didn’t look like it was going to smoke me like a pork shoulder, but it did. And I’m glad!

OK! I said I was going to do CrossFit Austin’s strength workout every week and despite a missed Tuesday workout, I did it! Saturday morning. Craptastic gym. Strength workout done.
And it was pretty badass.

Cabbage is my favorite vegetable, and Brussels sprouts are really just stupid-cute, tiny cabbages.
I usually chop them in half, toss them with melted coconut oil, and roast them in the oven until they’re carmelized. But the best part of the roasted sprouts are the few leaves that flake off all on...
